    Dry Wind Intensive

    Price: $125.00

    YIN DEFICIENCY 阴虚

Runs dry, runs warm, won’t quite settle.

An eight-day decoction course for a Dry Wind season — when moisture, coolness, and the sense of being replenished run short, especially late in the day. Built on Liu Wei Di Huang Wan, the “Six-Flavor Rehmannia” — the tradition’s foundational formula for refilling the reservoir.

Raw herbs, roots, and berries in daily bundles, steeped at home for eight days — replenishment as a daily practice. Repeatable up to three courses for a season long in place.

Inside the formula — 11 herbs

    Sovereign

    • Shu di huang (prepared rehmannia) — the classical foundation for nourishing yin and blood at their deepest level

    Ministers

    • Shan zhu yu (cornus) — gathers and conserves what the formula builds; rehmannia’s traditional partner
    • Shan yao (Chinese yam) — a mild tonic that nourishes digestion, qi, and fluids at once

    Assistants

    • Fu ling (poria) — gently steadying; supports digestion and promotes calm without sedating
    • Mu dan pi (moutan) — clears the heat that tends to build where yin runs low
    • Ze xie (alisma) — drains excess fluid so the richer nourishing herbs don’t feel heavy
    • Mai men dong (ophiopogon) — moistens and cools; the classical lead for a system running dry
    • Sha shen (glehnia) — promotes moisture where dryness shows first: throat, mouth, skin
    • Wu wei zi (schisandra) — the five-flavor herb, traditionally used to gather and conserve fluids and energy
    • Gou qi zi (goji) — nourishes blood and yin gently, in neither a warming nor cooling direction
    • Huang jing (polygonatum) — a gentle tonic that nourishes yin and qi together

Not sure which formula is for you?

Take the Intake — nine short sections, about five minutes, free.

Your reading names your climate (your body’s lasting tendency) and, if one is passing through, your season (the pattern active right now). It recommends a daily Regimen to keep your climate steady and, when a season is present, an eight-day Intensive course to bring you back to balance.
